TO INVEST IN EUROSITY

SPECIAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO ENTREPRENEURS AND INVESTORS

Companies settling in the Department of Indre and the Community of Castelroussine Cities benefit from a financial aid package among the most comprehensive in France and Europe.

REGIONAL AID

Regional aid (French Aides à Finalité Régionale - AFR) subsidizes productive investment (in buildings, land, equipment) and job creation (hiring subsidies and training).

The combined aid of the state, the Central Region, the General Council of Indre, the Community of Castelroussin Cities is calculated on the basis of productive investment costs. The maximum rate of such public support varies between 15% and 35% of the investment, depending on the size of the company.

In 2013, Bpifrance Centre supported 3,000 companies totaling 812 million euros (1.5 billion euros of public and private funding).

R&D Tax Credit

The research tax credit (French Crédit Impôt Recherche - CIR) is a generic measure of support for research and development (R & D) of companies, without restriction of size or sector. Companies that incur expenditure on basic research and experimental development can benefit from the CIR by deducting from their taxes under certain conditions. The rate of the CIR varies with the amount of investment.

France offers the best R&D tax credit in Europe the rate covers 30% of all R&D expenses up to €100 million and 5% above this threshold.

Innovation Tax Credit

The innovation tax credit (French - Crédit d'Impôt Innovation - CII), part of the Finance Act 2013,is the equivalent of companies reducing 20% of the cost of spending in favor of innovation, limited to a maximum of 400,000 euros of eligible expenditure.

It is equal to 20% of expenditure on innovation in independent SMEs up to a ceiling of 400 000 euros per eligible business expenses./p>

Also eligible for tax credit is expenditure on technological or non-technological innovation, including design costs, costs of design prototypes and pilot plants, which help to produce and market a new product./p>

Cap Air support

Launched in early 2013, the Regional Innovation Action (French - Action Innovation Régionale - AIR) is a programme run by ARITT and the Chamber of Commerce of Centre. It receives funding from Europe, from the state, the regional council, supplemented occasionally by shares from some departmental councils or municipal structures.

TERMS OF INVESTMENT

- Any company wishing to relocate within EuroSity must submit an application detailing its motivations and its business plan to a steering committee. The steering committee is composed of representatives of SFECZ and the Community d'Agglomération Castelroussine, the Regional Council of Centre, the General Council of Indre and the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry (all regional administrative bodies).

The companies must guarantee that their production complies with European quality standards, and demonstrate their economic viability and their potential for job creation.

The consensus rule prevails in this committee and its members have, if needed, a right of veto. This board will also endorse the "Made in France" quality of the products made at the hub.

- As part of the cooperation agreements signed between French and Chinese representatives, it was agreed that for every Chinese unit located on the area, the Chinese workforce would not exceed 20% of the total workforce.
